Your Cornelia Goethe Center
No Presence Operation until June 2, 2020
(Translation: Don’t worry! We are here for you!)
The Cornelia Goethe Center will not provide face-to-face service until June 2, 2020. The reason for this are the unforeseeable developments around COVID-19 and the ensuing resolutions of the Hessian state government and the management of the Goethe University. We have moved our workplaces to the home office or work mobile. The office of the Cornelia Goethe Center therefore does not offer office hours / opening hours on site at the moment.
For general inquiries please contact us via phone at 069/798-35100 or send us an e-mail.
Telephone Hours: Mo – Th from 7 am – 4 pm or by appointment
If you have any questions regarding the B.A. minor Gender Studies, please contact the course coordinator Franziska Vaessen by e-mail. Questions about the certificate programme will be answered by e-mail by Anne Eckert starting from April 20, 2020.
Please understand that we cannot be available for you at the Center without prior arrangement by telephone or without prior inquiry by e-mail.
Cornelia Goethe Colloquia in the Summer Semester
This summer’s Cornelia Goethe Colloquia will take place in a different form. You can find current information on the colloquia on the Colloquia information page.
The first lecture, Intersektionalität im Recht – Genese, Krisen, Perspektiven by Elisabeth Holzleithner, will be available online as a recording starting from June 3, 2020. We are very pleased to welcome you online for this occasion.
We have also decided to postpone some of the lectures which cannot take place due to the corona pandemic to the winter semester. The Cornelia Goethe Colloquia will therefore not only deal with the topic of intersectionality in the summer, but also in the winter semester. All further information on current developments can be found on our homepage.

The workshop offer for the GRADE Center Gender will be smaller this semester. You will find more information about our offers on the website of the center.
