Study abroad

General information for studying abroad can be found at the International Office of Goethe-University.

Moreover the Cornelia Goethe Center offers mobility for students within Germany with the PONS-program. More information can be found here (only in German).


The Cornelia Goethe Center takes part in InterGender, the ERASMUS-exchange program for gender studies, together with University of Salzburg, der University of  Bern and Central European University Budapest. Students of Goethe-University can visit classes at the participating institutions through the InterGender program and get them accredited for their study program at the home university. For participating in the program the visit of classes with at least 12 Credit Points (equivalent to 8 “Semesterwochenstunden”) is required.

To apply for InterGender, send your application to the Erasmus-team of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The team also offers counseling for application criteria, required forms, application procedure, housing etc.

Application deadline

Deadline for applications is February 1st  – for the next academic year (winter + summer term). If February 1st is a saturday or sunday, the deadline is shifted to the following monday.
